We cover Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The housing is not the same across it, and neither is the work — a laneway garage in the old city and a 2010s double door in Brampton fail in different ways, so each area below has its own page describing what we actually get called for there.
Toronto
- Toronto — Laneway garages, detached rears and tight access across the old city
- North York — Post-war bungalows with original single doors, and the springs that outlived them
- Scarborough — Sixties and seventies subdivisions where the double doors are all reaching the same age
- Etobicoke — Post-war bungalows, new infill, and lakeshore hardware that corrodes early
Peel
- Mississauga — Large eighties-to-2000s subdivisions, double doors and insulated steel as standard
- Brampton — The newest large housing stock in the GTA, and garages that work harder than they look
York
- Vaughan — Big new builds, eight-foot doors and smart openers that still need a balanced door
- Markham — Newer subdivisions and a high share of townhouses with single doors
- Richmond Hill — Larger homes, carriage-style doors and the parts that go with them
- Newmarket — An older core and large newer subdivisions, at the north edge of our area
Halton
- Oakville — Higher-end doors, wood-look finishes, and lakeside exposure
Durham
- Pickering — Durham commuter housing, and doors that live outdoors all winter
- Ajax — Nineties and 2000s subdivisions all reaching spring life together
- Whitby — Older core, newer north end, and two quite different sets of problems
- Oshawa — A wide age range of housing, from war-time homes to new subdivisions
Not on the list?
The list is where we work most often, not a fence. If you are near the edge of it, get in touch and we will tell you straight away whether we can get to you rather than take the job and leave you waiting.
